Your body needs nutrition to look, feel and function at it's healthy best. Poor diet, stress and modern day living will not only upset the body's natural equilibrium but also combine to deplete you of essential nutrients.

When your body lacks sufficient nutrition and its physiological systems and processes are struggling, your health is compromised.

My aim is to help you avoid this from happening in the first place, but more often than not for all sorts of reasons it takes signs and symptoms of nutritional dysfunction and body imbalance to appear before people reach out for help with their nutrition and health.

What is Functional medicine?

Functional medicine is all about personalisation and strengthening the body as a whole.

1. Personalisation

You are unique and the underlying causes and triggers of any health challenges that you may experience in life is likely to be different from someone else presenting with the same symptoms as you.

2. Strengthening

Functional medicine recognises that the mind and body are connected and seeks to determine where the roots of your symptoms lie before placing emphasis on working to restore, plus protect those underlying triggers of imbalance. The focus is always on optimal nutrition plus functioning of the body and its organs, using a holistic approach.

As one of the few coaches and functional medicine practitioners trained in nutrition, emotional and physical therapy, my mission is to support, guide and educate you on how to optimise your health and wellness.

Step 1 - Initial consultation

During your initial consultation, we’ll spend time exploring your health history and current concerns while considering how to bring about the outcomes you are seeking. We’ll talk about symptoms, potential triggers, diet, nutrition, health habits and your goals.

Step 2 - Choose from a 1, 3 or 6 month package

Your individual needs, health condition and goals will help us to determine how much support, education and guidance you require and would like.

Step 3 - Follow up appointments

For clients who would like further nutrition and lifestyle support or follow-up testing after their 1, 3 or 6 month package .
