Sports Massage (60 or 90 minutes)

Our sports massage is helpful for injury prevention and to enhance sporting performance. Great for treating chronic (longstanding) problems or acute injuries e.g. muscle spasm or strain and reducing swelling or any discomfort caused by exercising and participating in sport.

We can design a bespoke treatment programme to fit your training schedule and goals.

Pre-event

Sports massage before an event can be an integral component of the pre-event preparation for many athletes and sports professionals. It will stimulate circulation, calm nervous tension and create a state of readiness in the muscles and tissues to maximise your performance, while reducing the risk of injury.

Between exercise and training sessions

It is also beneficial between exercise or training sessions to focus on strengthening muscles, speeding up recovery and preventing the development of future injuries.

Post-event

Following exercise or sporting activity the length of recovery time particularly from strenuous sports can be dramatically reduced with a good post-event massage. This is achieved by reducing post-exercise soreness, re-establishing full range of motion and enhancing blood flow to tight and tired muscles.

Advanced stretching techniques form an essential part of all our sports massage treatments and will help to greatly enhance your performance and the massage outcome.
